Nippon Pulse's family of linear shaft motors is the next generation brushless linear motor.
When reliability, maintenance-free, no-rest and precision are paramount, Nippon Pulse linear shaft motors are the ideal choice. They offer the user uncompromising performance, ease of use, compact size and a high price-performance ratio
Our linear servo motors are more efficient than other cylindrical linear motors of similar size. This is the result of the patented shaft design, and results in a compact size and high nominal force constant of each motor.

The shaft of the linear servo motor consists of a series of NIB magnets mounted on an iron-loose rod in such a way that there is no space between the magnets. This creates the structural strength of the linear servo motor. This structure is then assembled into a protective stainless steel tube. When the iron loose rod is tensioned in the stainless steel protective tube, a very rigid shaft is created. This patented process enables the linear servo motor to achieve strokes of up to 4.6 meters in length. The linear motors can be operated in severe environments and in a vacuum and are waterproof (IP67).

Easy to drive:
The linear shaft motors are very flexible and accept most servo amplifiers. They can already be driven by conventional brushless three-phase DC servo drives (also known as AC servos). Multiple units can be networked to form a group of linear servo motors and synchronized with a network controller or a PC.

No lubrication/adjustment maintenance required and thus has a maintenance-free long lifetime.
