2ndsCIN is an individual, dynamic, breathable, textile protective cover for robots and hardware components to make them cleanroom compatible. For achieving the desired cleanroom class, for example, the existing industrial robots can be wrapped instead of replacing them with a new cleanroom robot. By using this special protective cover, resources and investments for a cleanroom robot can be saved. The textile protective cover is washable/decontaminable and therefore reusable. A maintenance strategy can be implemented by using sensors within the system.
