Interview with YASKAWA
They have been exhibitors at Motek for many years. What opportunities does Motek offer you for your products and your company?
We are “robot manufacturers” from the very beginning at Motek. For us, Motek is one of the most important trade fairs in the German-speaking region in the field of robots for handling applications. Every year we have many specific requests for real projects and a great response in terms of our guests at the Yaskawa booth in Hall 7.
What are your first experiences with Motek Virtual?
We are very happy that Motek Virtual is taking place and that we can be there. The platform is simple and functional. Visitors can also quickly find their way around.
What opportunities do you see in the virtual format?
We see the chance probably like all our market companions also, since we have this year no possibility to exhibit quasi “locally”. The virtual format is, of course, a great option,
to provide partners, customers and interested parties with news from our company and to get in touch.
Tell us about the highlights in your showroom.
- The clear focus is on our two new SCARA models, the MOTOMAN SG4oo and MOTOMAN SG65o. These round off our already broad robot portfolio at the bottom end, alongside the “MotoMINI” miniature robot.
- Fast, precise, affordable, with the latest YRC1ooo control, like our other models.
- Added to this are our MOTOMAN HC10 and MOTOMAN HC20DT collaborative robots, because here, too, the trend does not pass us by without Yaskawa Robotic.
May we look forward to more novelties/highlights in your showroom?
Here we present the already mentioned MOTOMAN HC20DT, a collaborative robot, with 20 kg payload, IP67 protection class, which is second to none!
Do you have any webcasts planned that visitors to Motek Virtuell can look forward to?
We do not have a webcast planned. We invite any visitor to contact us directly. Because everyone has individual questions, we are also happy to answer them bilaterally and customer-specifically.
What are you particularly looking forward to at Motek 2021 (if participation is planned?)
The pleasure of communicating eye to eye with many old and new trade visitors. Because as Carnegie said in the 90s, “Seeing each other once is better than hearing each other 10 times.”
