Motek/Bondexpo 2019: Digitalization arrives
The 38th Motek – International Trade Fair for Production and Assembly Automation – is about to start, together with the 13th Bondexpo – International Trade Fair for Adhesive Technologies. Motek focuses on “Smart Solutions for Production and Assembly” for this year 2019 and beyond.
The core of the product and service portfolio of the globally recognized information, communication and business platform continues to be state-of-the-art and now digitized components, assemblies, subsystems and complete systems for automated production and assembly. In order to meet the growing demands of fully automated, flexible production, both now and in the future, Motek presents complete solutions that are geared to industrial practice and networked in terms of technology and communication. Complementing this, Bondexpo, which is being held in parallel, will showcase detailed and system solutions for joining and connecting components and assemblies in pre-assembly and final assembly.
Implementing digitization, realizing networking
The Motek motto “Smart Solutions for Production and Assembly” underscores that digitization and integration have long been a usable reality. This is particularly visible and tangible in the Arena of Integration (AoI) theme park. “Connectivity” is not a buzzword, but practice at AoI; the integrative theme park in the center of Hall 6 will provide trade visitors with concrete answers to current questions about intelligent production and process chains in conjunction with digital applications through showcases. Trade fair promoter Schall is organizing this special show together with cooperation partner Landesnetzwerk Mechatronik Baden-Württemberg and exhibitors; in combination with the range of offerings at Motek and Bondexpo, as well as the integrative theme park, the trade fair event from 07. from October 10, will provide trade visitors worldwide with a unique, comprehensive picture of the value-added chains of information- and process-oriented industrial production and assembly automation.
The focus is on industrial feasibility
Motek represents the complete world of rapidly changing process automation and presents customers and users with industrially usable and future-proof solutions already today. Nowhere else can trade show visitors get a comparably comprehensive picture of how modern manufacturing is to be designed. “Motek is not showtime for dancing robots, this is where the hardware and software of automation technology rocks,” is how Bettina Schall, Managing Director of P.E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG, sums it up. The pragmatically conceived trade fair duo Motek/Bondexpo has therefore long been a welcome and indispensable must-attend event for all design engineers, users and production managers who are looking for practical solutions for modern industrial manufacturing and assembly.
