Motek/Bondexpo 2022: Top Event for Future
Exhibitors and suppliers of assembly and production automation solutions will meet at the Motek/Bondexpo industry highlight in Stuttgart from the 4th through the 7th of October, 2022. The live event will offer an up-to-date presentation of “Automation Intelligence for Production and Assembly”. Motek is celebrating its 40th anniversary – an event which has written impressive industrial history. Original exhibitors will also be on hand.
The highly successful Motek/Bondexpo trade fair duo made a brilliant on-site appearance in the fall of 2021, and this year’s industry highlight will build on that success: together with the 15th Bondexpo international trade fair for bonding technology, the exhibition halls in Stuttgart will open their doors for the 40th Motek international trade fair automation in production and assembly from the 4th through the 7th of October, 2022. The automation sector is looking forward to discussing concrete projects at the essential live trade fair. “Booking levels attained already roughly six months before the event confirm the extent to which players in the production automation sector value Motek/Bondexpo as an important information and business platform,” explains Rainer Bachert, Motek/Bondexpo project manager. “The trade fair focuses on the concrete, future-oriented organisation of industrial manufacturing processes. Time-tested interaction between Motek and Bondexpo portrays the processes and their further development by means of digitalisation and automation, as well as the integration of new technologies, in a highly practical manner. This is why Motek/Bondexpo is an ideal business platform for the capital goods industry.”
Optimising Production Processes for the Future
Motek/Bondexpo has been established as the meeting place for the automation and bonding technology communities in the fall of 2022. Expert visitors will experience an up-to-date portfolio of issues – components, subassemblies, subsystems and complete systems, including software and robotics. Artificial intelligence (AI) processes, which have long since served as a tool in support of industrial manufacturing processes, will also be on the agenda at the next Motek/Bondexpo; users will be shown how to optimise their production processes with AI in a pragmatic and practice-oriented manner. Typical applications in the AI domain include above all quality inspection by means of camera systems within the framework of zero-defects production, as well as predictive maintenance for efficient equipment upkeep. Small and mid-sized companies are thus able to find out how to get started with AI in actual practice.
Motek/Bondexpo – Exactly the Right Place for the Target Group
Attending the trade fair in person, engaging in expert discussions on an equal footing, exploring practical solutions and networking – this is what exhibitors and expert visitors always like most about Motek/Bondexpo. Matching target groups meet up at the event. Motek/Bondexpo is the “the place to be” for Afag from Switzerland as well, and is one of their primary automation trade fairs. “On the one hand, Motek/Bondexpo provides us with an ideal opportunity for welcoming our regular customers in person and, on the other hand, for establishing valuable new contacts within the market. Afag is an automation specialist with tremendous innovative strength. Motek is an important forum for us for presenting our new developments and solutions,” affirms Anita Renc, chief sales officer at Afag Engineering.
40 Years of Motek: Mirror Image of Automation in Production
Along with numerous other companies, Afag was one of Motek’s original exhibitors: Paul Eberhard Schall organised the very first Motek in Sindelfingen in 1982. Initially promoted on a modest scale, industrial assembly and handling technology attracted a highly interested expert audience and generated continuous growth for the event. The trade fair promoters at Schall have successfully maintained Motek’s concept for four decades – a technically focussed, application-oriented event format for industrial practice. It presents all products and issues with relevance for industrial manufacturing, right up to fully networked, digitalised and software-supported overall systems, in an up-to-date, forward-looking manner. This is why digitalised, networked production processes will once again be rendered tangible and comprehensible at this year’s Arena of Integration (AoI). In 2021, the AoI succeeded in linking various processes from different exhibitors. In light of the great interest expressed by the expert visitors and the exhibitors, expansion from four to six digitally networked exhibits is planned for Motek 2022.
Players from the field of production automation will find out how they need to prepare themselves for current and future challenges at Motek/Bondexpo. The dates have thus been written in stone: 4 to 7 October 2022 in Stuttgart!
