Official start of Motek/Bondexpo-Virtual! The new digital marketplace for the world of industrial automation
Motek, the international trade fair for production and assembly automation, and Bondexpo, the international trade fair for adhesive bonding technology, have officially launched their new digital trade fair platforms, Motek-Virtuell and Bondexpo-Virtuell. Immediately after the postponement of the 2020 trade fair date to next year, the Schall trade fair company acted and officially opened the new digital meeting place for suppliers and users of industrial automation. Here, in attractive and optimally structured virtual showrooms, exhibitors present their trade show highlights, product innovations and sustainability features in a compact manner, as well as their web-based presentations using the webcast function. Valuable leads and best business contacts are generated by the integrated individual problem solving request on the virtual trade fair duo’s landing page for the international trade audience.
“This year, the spread of the Corona virus means that a large proportion of trade fairs are cancelled – worldwide. The lack of exchange with potential customers and the missed opportunity to present new products means a major challenge, especially for the B2B sector. That’s why we’re very grateful to the Schall company, which unceremoniously set up Bondexpo as a virtual event,” says Ralph Weidling, managing partner at Weicon, a manufacturer of special products for industry that is represented in more than 120 countries worldwide by over 1,200 trading partners. “The virtual alternative can be used very conveniently without any risk or effort. This gives us the opportunity to present our innovations to the interested trade audience and to increase the anticipation for the next events. While such offers do not permanently replace the interpersonal and professional exchange at the trade shows; we are optimistic that online communication will make a great contribution to overcoming the crisis period together.”
Smart networked technology meeting place for trade visitors
For many exhibiting companies, the trade fair duo of Motek and Bondexpo is a very important event in the year as a prelude to the fall trade fairs. Industrial users need practically implementable and economical automation solutions for the upcoming and far-reaching digital production requirements, all the more so in economically difficult times. With the new virtual format of the 39th Motek and the 14th Bondexpo, the globally recognized industry event is already offering the opportunity to inform oneself clearly and compactly about the trade fair highlights 2020, product innovations and news in the field of sustainability at a digital marketplace.
By means of the integrated, thematically focused search engine, trade visitors to the virtual trade fair can perfectly select the desired information via the trade fair nomenclature or specifically obtain relevant hits for their business by entering keywords. The highlight of it, the generated hit list is functional. This gives visitors the opportunity to send an individual problem-solving request to the exhibitors of these qualified search results, in order to subsequently work out specific solution approaches in an intensive exchange, just like at the real trade fair. Suppliers and users can thus optimally embark on the joint path of achieving the best possible goals for everyday industrial practice. The product and service portfolio of Motek/Bondexpo with components, assemblies, subsystems and complete systems for automated production and assembly, including joining technology as a component of industrial manufacturing, is thus optimally structured and continuously available to trade visitors in the new virtual technology meeting place.
